I have missed writing these Gratitude Friday posts, which I used to put up A LOT more frequently. Gratitude is my favorite thing because it really helps me remember the good things in life, obviously. To me, gratitude is a practice, and right now I am out of practice 😛

This week, I’m grateful for a lot of things. The first is Pokemon Go, haha!

I’m grateful for my awesome job. Not only is my work rewarding, but it also involves a ton of paid time off. Being a therapist is all kinds of exhausting, so I am very happy that I can engage in self-care (in the form of vacation days) more than many people get to. I feel so lucky for that one.

I’m grateful that I got to go to the zoo and mini golfing with Andy’s family last week! 

I’m grateful for the roof over my head. Our apartment may not be perfect (see plumbing issues mentioned in previous post), but I love it anyway.

I’m grateful for a good time in Minnesota last month! My family got to visit Rachel, John, and their baby girl (remember when I attended Rachel’s wedding almost exactly 1 year ago?) over the 4th of July weekend. It was wonderful to meet our newest family member <3

I never know how people feel about their kids on social media, so I hid the baby’s face. RESPECT.

I’m grateful that Rachel gave me her old road bike. A triathlon may be in my 1 year fitness plan 😀

I’m grateful for summer. Summer is my very favorite season. Nothing is better than all the road trips I’ve been on, evening walks with Andy, frequent ice cream stops, and more. I don’t think I’ve spent 1 full weekend at our apartment. I’ve been constantly out and about, traveling to Minnesota, Wisconsin, or just staying over at friends’ places. It’s awesome, but a bit tiring. I’m not complaining because I know I’ll miss this in a month.

I’m grateful for long runs with awesome people.

Oksana and I have been training like mad for this marathon. It’s so much fun that we get to do it together this year!
