Run 10 Feed 10 2016 + Last Week’s Workouts

I told you guys about a month ago that I’m an Action Hero for Women’s Health Magazine. With this amazing opportunity, I am working with Women’s Health to promote the Run 10 Feed 10 race! This 10k race means a lot to me because every race entry goes towards 10 meals for people going hungry in the local community. Chicago’s Run 10 Feed 10 will be on September 8th this year and I am SO looking forward to it.

Speaking of running, I’ve been doing a lot more of it lately. Marathon training is in full swing. I’ve been enjoying running so much more than usual. It will be great to do the Run 10 Feed 10 in September – only 1 month before my marathon 😀 Here is what I did last week:

Monday – 1 hour yoga practice

Tuesday – 3 mile run

Wednesday – Rest

Thursday – 2 mile run + 2 miles on the elliptical. It was raining, I was a baby about it, so I ended up at the gym. I had a low treadmill tolerance that day, so it ended up being a 1/2 run, 1/2 elliptical situation. Better than nothing 😛

Friday – SWORKIT strength training workout

Saturday – A lovely walk in the woods with Andy and his mom

Sunday – 6.2 mile race, 2.8 mile run afterwards
