It’s Wednesday again, which means it’s time for another installment of Workout Wednesday! I definitely promised you my Shamrock Shuffle training plan, but… I have a big test on Saturday and haven’t had time to make a cute table of my plan. Next week will be my first official week of training, so I’ll post the plan then! That’s a promise! I will be done with my test on Saturday and a huge project on Monday, so Tuesday night will afford me some time for fun. If you consider creating a training plan graphic “fun,” that is 😉 Last week, an awful snowstorm hit Chicago. I wasn’t about to exercise outside anyway because I cannot stand the cold, but this made me miss my planned 3 miler on Sunday. Next time, I need to pay closer attention to the weather reports. Here are my workouts from last week Monday: 1 hour yoga class.
I’m falling more and more in love with yoga. My uncle is a yoga instructor and has been for about 10 years, which means I’ve been practicing yoga since high school. My uncle is such a positive influence in my life in many ways and someday I’m thinking I’ll teach yoga like he does 🙂 Tuesday-Thursday: these days are crazy busy for me and I haven’t found a way to squeeze in exercise. I might be able to work out on a Tuesday or Thursday evening if I set my mind to it. This will be my challenge next week! Friday: ran 2.1 miles! Longest distance of 2015, ha!
Saturday: ICE SKATING! I don’t know about you, but I truly believe that this counts as a workout. I skated in high school and was in fantastic shape, despite not exercising in other ways. Sunday: snow day! I really, REALLY wanted to complete a 3 miler on this day, but couldn’t get out of the house. I’m not the greatest driver, so I try to avoid snow driving when I can. Instead of running, I did the 30 Day Shred, level 1. I was sore for 2 days after that, so it was a great workout 🙂 There you have it! I’m hoping to run more than once this week – maybe I will be able to tonight! My Wednesday night class only meets every other week, so I’m free this evening! Do you ever use workout DVDs?!
