Happy Friday! Today is extra special because this is my 100th post! My original plan was to write a recap of our Wisconsin vacation, but in honor of post number 100, I’ve decided to stick with tradition and express my gratitude this Friday 🙂 I’m grateful for the library. Nonfiction has been my jam lately. I’m currently reading My Age of Anxiety by Scott Stossel, which provides so much history and scientific background on anxiety. The best part is that the author includes examples from his own experiences with anxiety. Fiction-wise, I am planning to start Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple. Lately, I’ve been really ambitious with my reading endeavors and have several books started at once. Hopefully I can finish them all… I’m also grateful that Andy and I got to go on vacation last week. There isn’t much better than reading on a pier on a gorgeous day. I’m grateful for Andy. We live an hour apart now and still are committed to seeing each other as often as possible 🙂 The distance hasn’t been as difficult as I previously imagined.
Awesome picture from Tim and Sara’s wedding
I’m grateful that my friends and I have done so many fun things lately! Since my internship is fast approaching (it actually feels like it’s slowly approaching, but whatever), I have been trying to squeeze in all of my doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and FUN activities too! I’ve gone mini golfing, went to the zoo with Andy, watched the fireworks at Navy Pier from a beach with Annie and My, met up with Britta and Gayle for dinner, completed a mud run with Sara and Becca, and much more. I want to have as much fun as possible before summer is over 🙂
I’m grateful for dipped ice cream cones. And all delicious food, haha!
Caramel dipped cone at a cute local joint by Andy’s place!
I’m grateful that Britta’s mom let me borrow one of her dresses. Money is about to get REALLY tight for me this year because I cut my hours at work to do my internship. I need a dress for a wedding I’m going to in a month and Britta’s mom has one that fits perfectly! YES! Gotta love sharing 😀
I’m grateful for yoga.
I’m grateful for this blog. Nothing is better than having awesome readers like you guys! I’m grateful that I get to write about my life and running here. I think about you guys during every race and push myself more than I ever would have in the past. This blog has changed my life for the better and I can’t wait to write another 100 posts!
Thank you all for reading and have an awesome weekend 🙂
What are you grateful for this week?
